Pois é, a brincar, a brincar, já lá vão 4 anos de posts neste blog. Estes 4 anos coicidem com a minha experiência de blogging, uma vez que me iniciei precisamente com este blog dedicado ao Exchange Server.

• Versões de Exchange: 2 (quando comecei, estávamos no Exchange Server 2003)
• Empresas onde trabalhei: 3 (ParaRede, Unisys e Microsoft)
• Nº de hits: não tenho dados exactos, mas calculo que andem à volta de 150.000

Update Rollup 4 for Exchange Server 2007 SP1

Depois de um lançamento acidental no Microsoft Update, a versão final do Update Rollup 4 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 foi finalmente disponibilizada.

Overview
Update Rollup 4 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) resolves issues that were found in Exchange Server 2007 SP1 since the software was released. This update rollup is highly recommended for all Exchange Server 2007 SP1 customers.

Exchange Hosted Services at Microsoft é um whitepaper da colecção Microsoft IT Showcase que foi disponibilizado recentemente.

"The Microsoft Information Technology (Microsoft IT) group required a reliable and cost-efficient solution to increase protection against spam, viruses, and other messaging threats. Microsoft IT implemented Microsoft® Exchange Hosted Services to meet these needs."

A figura seguinte demonstra bem porque o spam é uma grande preocupação para a Microsoft:

"Spam submission attempts have increased at Microsoft over the past five years by more than a factor of 10 and almost tripled from 11 million to 28 million submission attempts in the fiscal year of 2007/2008, as indicated in Figure."
